24/7 Scheduling for your favorite DHF Service!

Lessons, Training, Clinics
Now it is simple and convenient to book your lessons at DHF!

See the table below and choose what service you prefer and follow the prompts! You will be required to set-up a profile - quick and painless - with your name, phone and email so that when appointments are made and/or changes are needed, everyone is notified!

PLEASE NOTE: DHF will continue to enforce the following policies:

  1. 24-hour notice is REQUIRED for Lesson cancellations or you will have to pay the whole lesson fee unless you reschedule within the next 7 days
  2. $250 deposit for Clinics is required within 5 business days of scheduling or you risk forfeiture of your ride slot.
  3. Appropriate riding attire is required for all lesson participants. DHF's preferred lesson attire consists of a form-fitting short or long sleeved shirt so the instructor can evaluate the rider's position, breeches with paddock boots and half chaps, or tall boots. Long hair should always be neatly contained for safety reasons. Tank tops, sports bras, and tube tops are considered to be inappropriate attire for lessons. Please, no sweatshirts or other baggy clothing.
  4. An ASTM/SEI certified riding helmet with buckled chin strap is required for all students. DHF has approved lesson helmets available for new students to borrow, but expects students to purchase their own very soon after they start lessons.
  5. We maintain a string of high quality lesson horses of various sizes to accommodate most riders. However for the health and safety of our horses, we do not allow riders over 250 pounds to ride our horses. Riding is a highly physical sport and requires quick reflexes, core strength, coordination and balance and heavier people are in danger of injuring themselves or our horses.
  6. DHF's instructors make every effort to adhere to the lesson schedule as it is agreed upon by the instructor and student. Students must allow at least 30-45 minutes prior to their scheduled lesson time to potentially catch from the field, groom and tack up their horse. Students should be mounted and in the arena at the scheduled time for their lesson or forfeit the portion of their lesson they missed by running late. Students are responsible for cooling down and grooming their lesson horse, cleaning DHF's tack/equipment, and returning everything to its proper place.
  7. Outside instructors/trainers are not permitted to teach/train on DHF's property. DHF brings in highly qualified clinicians on a regular basis to supplement the education provided at DHF.
  8. DHF only accepts payments by cash or check for lessons and payment must be remitted the day of service (except for Bill Dyer's client who are billed at the end of each month) or purchased in advance. A $50 returned check fee applies if a check doesn't clear.

Very Important: Always sign up for the next available time slot so that our teachers don't wind up having random empty lesson slots in their day.

Be sure to return to our site often, where you can sign-in to:
♦ View upcoming lessons/appointments
♦ Cancel lessons outside of 24-hours before the lesson starts
♦ Re-book your favorite lesson time/day into the future
♦ Receive email confirmations
♦ Get driving directions

Below you will find a list of services and a price range.  The price varies depending on which instructor you choose.  If you're coming to DHF for the first time, please contact our Riding School Coordinator, Sheila Wilson Sheila@myDHF.com and she will help you find the instructor you need for your level of riding experience.

Our Instructors:

Jen Truett:  DHF Owner: One of only three Mary Wanless certified Ride With Your Mind Instructors in the US. Specializing in rider/horse biomechanics for dressage. Earned many Regional and USDF Year End awards, competed in North American Young Rider’s Championships.

Natalie Regel:  Natalie has taken advantage of our Pathways of Learning - starting as a DHF student and evolving into a professional instructor. She has studied with Jennifer Truett and ridden with all DHF clinicians. Natalie teaches lessons and is a camp counselor.

Helen Trimeloni:   Helen is an Ohio State University graduate and a DHF Young Apprentice. She has been riding for over 15 years and with Jen since 2010. She rides successfully at Prix St Georges and is a USDF silver medalist. Helen teaches dressage and side saddle lessons.

Sami Namenyi:  Sami has been with DHF since 2010 as a Working Student and Apprentice. She trains with DHF clinicians and looks forward to competing with her horse, Genius. Sami teaches dressage lessons.

Bill Dyer:  H/J Trainer, with over 20 Grand Prix starts, and a career best placing 3rd in the $50,000 MCHA Grand Prix in Atlanta, Georgia. Students have won circuit, division, and class champion at AA Winter Equestrian Festival and A and AA Wellington shows.

Anja Holst:  Anja teaches Parelli-style ground work and beginner riding lessons. Her groundwork teaches the horse to get a positive response from the rider using the same principles Heather Blitz and Mary Wanless teach, which enhances the horse-rider relationship.

Schedulicity is also available from most smart phones: iPhone, Nexus, Droid, etc.!
