Working Students

Once students have proven themselves to be dedicated to higher learning, they may be selected to be Working Students. New students are also welcome to join DHF as Working Students to help them pay for their lessons and give them the opportunity to become immersed in equine education. This program includes participation in DHF staff duties, meetings and training, required auditing of clinics with note-taking encouraged for subsequent discussion, theory lessons and assigned readings with informed discussions with DHF professional staff. Working Student “graduates” become Apprentices.  One of DHF's instructors, Natalie Regal, worked her way up from DHF Working Student to Apprentice to Young Professional.  You can too!
