Requirements to board at DHF:
Dancing Horse Farm provides exceptional horse care to every horse. Personalized care and attention to detail enables our boarders to relax and enjoy the time spent with their horses. DHF Professional Staff live in apartments in the barns and are well equipped to support DHF’s high standards of horse care. Tribute Nutrition feeds, grass-mix hay, lush Ohio pastures, and dry-lot turnout when Ohio's grass pastures are muddy make for happy, healthy horses.
DHF is the home of Team Dream Training Center, "TDTC", and as such, requires each Boarder to take a minimum of four lessons/training sessions per month with any of the approved onsite dressage trainers. TDTC clients are strongly encouraged to use TDTC’s recommended veterinarian and farrier to streamline communication and enable the highest level of care and service possible.
DHF requires a $250 non-interest bearing security deposit at commencement of Boarding Contract. Please refer to the DHF Boarding Contract above for detailed specifics about training requirements. Board rates are subject to change. DHF will provide at least thirty (30) days written notice of all rate changes.

Includes rental of a safe stall which is cleaned once daily, access to clean water both in the stall and in the field, hay fed four times per day, grain fed up to four times per day, small group or private (extra cost) turnout, application of protective boots for turnout (if desired), blanketing, free horse trailer parking, use of DHF’s washer and dryer, and use of DHF’s facilities.

- Regulation sized indoor arena with over 125 linear feet of 6' tall mirrors and Future Trak fiber footing (new sand added in 2018 and new LED lighting added in 2017) and a climate-controlled lounge with a coffee maker, refrigerator and a powder room.
- A 100' x 240' outdoor arena with judge's box and new footing in 2021
- A 70' lunging arena with solid angled side walls and new footing in 2022

- Boarder is required to take a minimum of four lessons/training sessions per month with any of the approved onsite dressage trainers.
- Four lessons/training sessions per month must be paid for at the trainer’s current rate.
- The required number is not multiplied by the number of horses boarded by one Boarder.
- If, for any reason, the Boarder is unable to participate in lessons/training sessions during the month, then Boarder will be charged the minimum fee of $25 for each unused lesson/training session.
- In the case of the Boarder/horse not being physically present at DHF, Boarder must pay the monthly $250 stall holding fee plus the minimum monthly charge of $100 for unused lessons/training rides.
- In the case of an injured horse or Boarder, either one may use the four lessons/training rides per month at the desired trainer’s current rate, or Boarder must pay the minimum $100 monthly fee.
- $250 a refundable security deposit per boarded horse (details in Boarding Contract)
- Board payment must be received by the 3rd of the month, or there will be a $35 late fee added and an additional $35 charged per 7 day period late thereafter.
- Private Turnout: $50 additional per horse month
- Nursing Care: $40/hr during business hours, and $100/hr after hours. Billed out in 15-minute intervals (i.e. cold hosing/foot soaking/colic watch/hand walking)
- Extra bedding: $70 per month, distributed by DHF staff ONLY
- Other Services: Grooming, tacking, hand walking or grazing services available for an additional fee upon request

Premiere FacilityAbove, you see (from left) our custom 70' diameter steel lunging arena with solid/angled side walls. Next is the small dressage arena, also with all-weather footing. The small barn, Barn 3, houses Jen's horses and several of her full-training horses. The next barn, Barn 2, to the right houses Jordina Thorpe's H/J business and the boarded horses just like Barn 1. Across the driveway is the Office/Lounge and Indoor Arena. You can see part of the 1/2 mile oval track with the large outdoor arena in the middle.

Competition-Sized OutdoorCentered in the middle of the 1/2 mile training track is the outdoor arena. The footing was completely replaced at the end of 2021. It has a permanent judge's box, an elevated observation platform with seating and vinyl fencing.
